Dual Function PP Amp

 

-----------------------1/2 UL (Ultra Linear) means only one  Output tube is connected to  UL terminal.

9GV8 pp amp  is used as a Demo unit.

In order to succeed this project,  "The Best OPT" should be used. 

Otherwise,  you will end up with a mediocre PP amp.  I am highly recommending R-core OPT. My OPT is described here.

 

This 1/2 UL Amp puts out very pure 2nd harmonic Rich sound which you have never experienced before.

Make sure you are getting a very Low standard UL pp THD value - at least 0.1% @ 1W.

 

 "Very low THD"( low 3rd harmonic contents)  in standard UL mode assures   purer 2nd harmonic Rich out put;

      The THD in standard mode shown could be better.
